What We Collect
Helm collects the information you choose to enter into the quiz, such as age, income range, assets, debt, and saving behavior. This information is used only to generate your quiz results. We do not ask for names, addresses, or other identifying personal details as part of the quiz.
If you choose to view your quiz results, we collect your email address to send you a secure login link. Your email is stored in our authentication system and may be used to:
  • Send you the magic link to access your results
  • Allow you to return to view your results in the future
  • Optionally send product updates (only if you opt in separately)
We use Supabase for authentication and database storage, and Resend for email delivery. Your email is not sold to third parties or used for advertising.
How Your Data Is Used
Quiz responses are processed to calculate an estimated financial percentile using aggregated statistical models. Data is used at a population level to provide context, not to profile or identify individuals. Quiz inputs are not used for advertising or sold to third parties.
Data Storage
Quiz responses are processed to generate your results. If you provide an email to view results, your quiz data and email are stored in our database to allow you to access your results later. Any stored data is handled with reasonable security practices.
Third-Party Services
Helm may use trusted third-party infrastructure providers to operate the site and process requests, including Supabase for authentication and database storage, and Resend for email delivery. These providers are used only to run the service and do not receive data for their own purposes.
Privacy by Design
Helm is designed to minimize data collection. You can complete the quiz without creating an account, and "I'm not sure" responses are supported to avoid forcing exact inputs. The goal is clarity, not data extraction.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated as Helm evolves. Any changes will reflect how the product actually works and will not retroactively change how past data was handled.
